Singer Lisa is back with her solo single Rock star. the rapper of blackpink She recorded the music video in Bangkok, Thailand, her home country.
“Gold teeth on the dashboard, she’s a rock star/ Make your favorite singer want to rap, baby, la la/ ‘Lisa, can you teach me Japanese?’ I said, ‘Hai hai’/This is my life, baby, I’m a rock star,” says the chorus of the song.
please note this Rock star is the first release from the new partnership between RCA Records and Lisa’s management company, LLOUD Co., which she founded earlier this year.
Lisa co-wrote the song with Brittany Amaradio, James Essien, Lucy Healey, Ryan Tedder and Sam Homaee and it was produced by Tedder and Homaee.
It’s worth noting that the first preview was released on TikTok earlier this month, when Lisa created her profile on the social network and set a Guinness World Record by gaining 1 million followers in just over two hours.
