What happened
The news was confirmed in a note published on social media by the artist’s press office. “On medical advice, Pitty had to undergo a small emergency surgery and will be in recovery for 10 days,” the note said.
Cancelled Shows
Due to the surgery, the singer’s upcoming shows, which were scheduled to take place in Volta Redonda, Sorocaba and Divinópolis, have been canceled. The event producers will announce the new dates for these shows to the public in due course, if any.
Clarification Note
The statement regrets the cancellations and asks for fans’ understanding. “We regret the cancellations and the inconvenience and we continue to monitor the artist’s recovery so that her return to the stage happens as soon as possible.”
