‘143’ hits streaming platforms in September
The new album by Katy Perry already has a name and release date. 143 arrives on streaming platforms on September 20th.
In an interview with Zane Loweon Apple Music 1, Perry explained the meaning behind the numbers that title the new project.
“It’s my angel number. It’s my symbol, my sign,” she said. “A few years ago, we were going through a difficult medical time in our family, and I was a little scared, and I started seeing 143 in different ways, not just on my phone.”

The artist confessed that, while the experience was “trippy”, discovering that the number is the code for “I love you” gave her a certain comfort.
“I truly believe it was my angels, my guides, saying, ‘I love you. We’re with you. We’re going to protect you. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. You’re on the path,'” he continued.
“I really love the listener and I want to give them the love I received in the best way possible.”
