Singer Adele announced that she will be taking a break from her career, during an interview in Munich, Germany, for the broadcaster ZDF, on Sunday 14. Asked about her next album, the singer replied that she “has no plans for new music”. “My ‘tank’ is completely empty at the moment,” she said.
The album 30completed in 2021, remains Adele’s last project. She, who performed in Monaco in front of around 74,000 people, on a stage set up especially for the show, explained that she wanted “a big opportunity after all this [o show]” and that he wants to “do other creative things for a while.”
However, although Adele’s next steps were not explicitly revealed during the ZDF interview, the magazine Forbes stated, in 2023, that the singer has formally registered in the United Kingdom the opening of a company under that name The Shelbourne Collective Limitedwithin the scope of “specialized design activities”.
For ZDF, the singer was honest in explaining her experience in the spotlight: “I miss everything before I became famous, but the anonymity is probably what I miss the most.”
