The band will visit two Brazilian cities on the ‘The World Is a Vampire Tour’; tickets will be on sale from this Friday, the 19th
The label and production company Balaclava Recordsin co-production with the production company Music On Eventsannounced this Wednesday, the 17th, the arrival of an international music icon to Brazil in 2024. The North American band The Smashing Pumpkins, a reference in world alternative rock since the early 1990s, returns to the country for two shows at the end of the year.
The shows will take place in Brasília on Friday, November 1st, at the BRB Nilson Nelson Arena. Tickets will soon be available on the Bilheteria Digital website. In São Paulo, the show will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, at Espaço Unimed. Tickets will be on sale to the general public starting this Friday, July 19th, at 10 am, through the Tickets On website.

Tour
With successes spanning decades, the group led by Billy Corgan remains one of the most influential rock bands in alternative music. The current tour is even more special for the band’s history and for fans because it marks the return of the original members to the group, the musicians James Iha on the guitar and Jimmy Chamberlin on the battery.
The repertoire of the shows, which promise to last two hours, brings a perfect mix of classics from the band’s entire discography to their most recent albums — including hits that marked generations and are still played daily on radios around the world, such as “1979”, “Today”, “Bullet with Butterfly Wings”, “Tonight, Tonight”, “Disarm” and “Zero”.
