Mumuzinho moves the crowd in his signature show, the Mumu Reviewwhich testifies to his consecration as one of the greatest names of national samba. The next edition of the event will be this Sunday (21), at City of Artsto the Rio de Janeiro. The last tickets are on sale on the Ingresse website.
With a stage 360ºTHE Mumu Review always brings great guests to each edition, and the artists who will participate this Sunday will soon be revealed. The artist prepares a special repertoire for more than 3 hours in which he will be in front of the public at this great party, retracing his entire discography in music – with particular attention to the songs of the 2022 album that bears the same name as the event, so Mumuzinho received a gold record and a nomination for Latin Grammys.
The public will also be able to anxiously await the performance of the songs that will be featured in Mumu’s new live DVD, Connectedrecorded at the beginning of the month in St. Paul. The artist’s first audiovisual in more than 10 years, the project was recorded in front of a full audience in São Paulo and with special appearances such as Pericles, Thiaguinho, Belo, Rust AND Pagoda Classamong others.
Mumuzinho’s DVD featured special appearances
On July 3rd, singer Mumuzinho recorded his new DVD Connected, to the Vibra SPin Sao Paulo. The show included several special appearances.
The show brought a visual experience inspired by Broadwaywith interactions between artist, actors and dancers. Mumuzinho transparent LED panels used in shows U2.
Artists like it Péricles, Thiaguinho, Belo, Ferrugem, Turma do Pagode, MC IG, Miltinho, Rodriguinho, Michele Andrade AND Philip and Rodrigo participated in the recording.
It is worth remembering that the new work celebrates the 15 years of the artist’s career.
The DVD’s repertoire included thirty songs, twenty-five of which are unpublishedoffering a mix of new sounds and samba classics.
