Set for release on October 18 via Republic Records, the album’s first single, ‘Work It Out’, will be released on Friday (19)

The singer Joe Jonas announced the release of a solo album for October this year. Called Music For People Who Believe In Lovethe project will be the first in more than a decade of his independent career, which began in 2011, when he released Fastlifetheir debut album.

On social media, the artist published a message explaining what the world can expect from his next work:

I’m thrilled to share my new solo album with you – Music For People Who Believe In Love. This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s eye view, recognizing the many blessings around me.

When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment. It’s okay to grieve and mourn a loss—it’s part of the process of taking care of ourselves and eventually allowing us to be there for the people we care about.

This album speaks to the experiences of being a father, being a friend to yourself and others, and the happiness I have found in doing what I love for a living.

I feel incredibly fortunate to travel the world and connect with people through my music, and to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters and producers on this project.

A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera during filming that asked, “What do you want them to feel?” That question still resonates with me every time I step on stage or create a new song. The ability to perform, to connect deeply with an audience, and to evoke positive, even healing, emotions is a gift I cherish.

This album is a reflection and celebration of life. I hope it brings you as much joy as creating it brought me. Please enjoy!

With love and gratitude, Joe Jonas”

In the comments, the singer received support from his brothers and bandmates, Kevin It is Nick. Kevin commented with a fire emoji, while Nick wrote: “Let’s go!”

In addition to the new album, Joe Jonas had already announced a new solo song in the second week of July, called Work It Outthe track premieres on Friday (19).
