Single released on social media could be part of album that ends trilogy
Abel Tesfayeknown as The Weekndsurprised fans this Tuesday, 23, by publishing a snippet of a new song accompanied by a video. Citing Friedrich Nietzschethe singer wrote in the caption: “When you stare into the abyss for too long, the abyss stares back at you.”

The post gives clues about the third chapter of the trilogy created by Tesfayewhich includes After Hours It is Dawn FM. He also confirmed on social media that “there will be three chapters” in the unique show that will take place in São Paulo, on September 7th.

The announcement suggests that the performance in Brazil will therefore include tracks from his sixth studio album, which should serve as the closing of the trilogy he mentions. The Weeknd has not yet revealed the release date of the alleged new album.
