“Noah’s Ark” brings together a large cast of voices, with emphasis on Marcelo Adnet and Rodrigo Santoro as two mice
Imagem Filmes has released the first trailer for “Noah’s Ark,” a Brazilian animated film inspired by the work of Vinicius de Moraes. The film follows the story of two mice with musical ambitions, Tom and Vini, who manage to break the rule of two pairs per species and embark on Noah’s Ark before the flood. During the journey, the animals face disputes over territory and food, deciding to organize a musical contest to resolve the conflicts, much to the delight of Tom and Vini, who think they will win.
Marcelo Adnet (“Nas Ondas da Fé”) and Rodrigo Santoro (“7 Prisoners”) provide the voices of the protagonist mice. The cast of voice actors, full of famous stars, also includes Alice Braga (“Eduardo and Mônica”), Lázaro Ramos (“Provisional Measure”), Gregorio Duvivier (“Porta dos Fundos”), Julio Andrade (“Sob Pressão”), Bruno Gagliasso (“Marighella”), Giovanna Ewbank (“The Magic of Aruna”), Eduardo Sterblitch (“The Others”), Ingrid Guimarães (“My Sister and I”), He loisa Périssé (“Cine Holliúdy”), Marcelo Serrado (“The Angel of Hamburg”), Débora Nascimento (“Olhar Indiscreto”), Monica Iozzi (“Turma da Mônica: Lições”), Seu Jorge (“Marighella”) and Babu Santana (“Tim Maia”).

Production and development
The feature film features children’s songs from the albums “Arca de Noé 1 and 2”, written by Vinícius, and was conceived at the initiative of Suzana de Moraes, the poet’s daughter, who passed away in 2015 and is credited as associate producer. The production is carried out by Gullane and VideoFilmes. The direction was entrusted to Alois Di Leo in his first feature film and to Sérgio Machado (“Rio do Desire”), who also co-wrote the screenplay together with Heloísa Périssé and Ingrid Guimarães.
Debut and expectations
“Noah’s Ark” is scheduled to premiere on November 7.
