In a statement to Rolling Stone Brazil, VN highlighted the collective support that the project had not only from those who worked on the mixtape, but also from fans. “It’s a lot of what we would like to hear and what we would like to see more in the scene,” he said. “For us, it has a lot to do with being able to propose new things to artists, think of different things and create our own thing on top of that.”
That’s what brought us to this moment, being able to have this openness and trust from several artists, which is a very important thing. If the artists didn’t trust us, they wouldn’t embrace the project.
“We were able to deliver something that lived up to their expectations. It’s great to take this first step with all this support and a bunch of really cool artists. People we admire a lot. The label was born with a really good energy, not just one that was just going to be handed out,” he continued. VN.
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING
MUSIC TO HANDLE VOL. 1 IS OUR FIRST MUSICAL PROJECT, BUT IT WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE THE LAST
WITHOUT PROMISING ANYTHING BUT ALREADY PROMISING…

Already niLL explained how the purpose of Music to Hold on to, Vol. 1 is to connect generations by bringing veteran artists together with newcomers. For him, this mix of music and rap is a factor that interests and inspires him a lot.
“The project is nothing more than a great alchemy, a mixture of different styles and focused artists,” he said. “There are people who don’t really fight, they’re more calm, but on the other hand, there are a lot of people who have fought and ended up fighting, so it’s something that’s part of life, right?”
There’s nothing more interesting than seeing rappers talking about this. That’s the great thing about the project. I hope people like it, have fun, and enjoy this moment that Brazilian rap is going through. Man, we need to take advantage of this time.
