The album hits streaming platforms this Friday, 23rd
Sabrina Carpenter revealed the meaning behind the title “Short n’ Sweet”. In an interview with Zane Lowefrom Apple Music (via People), the singer confessed that the name has nothing to do with her height — she is 1.51 m tall.

“I came up with that name for a number of reasons. It wasn’t because I’m vertically challenged,” she joked. “I thought about some of those relationships and how some of them were the shortest I’ve ever had, but they had a huge impact on me.”
She added: “I think about how I respond to situations, and sometimes it’s really cool, and sometimes it’s not so cool. And again, these album things, these projects, these songwriting things, they’re all moments.”
Carpenter explained that it is “harder for some people to understand” that time passes and she is no longer “the same person” as when she wrote the tracks on Short n’ Sweet — “short and sweet”, in free translation.
Carpenter began making music with Hollywood Records in 2013. She released four albums through 2019, two years before signing with Island Records. With the new label, she released Emails I Can’t Send (2022). Now, she is about to release a new album: Short n’ Sweet arrives on streaming platforms this Friday, 23rd, with hits like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please”.
