Rapper and music producer Isaac Freeman III, better known by his stage name Fatman Scoopdied this Friday, 30 years old, at the age of 53. The information was spread on the artist’s social media and confirmed by his agency. Fans, friends and family mourned his death.

“Last night, the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on stage and in life. Fatman Scoop was not only a world-class performer, he was a father, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He was the laughter in our lives, a constant source of unwavering support, strength and courage,” the release reads.
According to information from the magazine “People”, Fatman he fainted on stage while playing in Hamden, Connecticut, USA. He was rescued, but did not survive. There are no details on the cause of death.
In a press release, the agency MN25, which is responsible for the rapper’s career, said that he was a “beloved figure in the music world” and that the work was beloved by countless fans.
“His iconic voice, infectious energy and big personality left an indelible mark on the industry, and his legacy will live on through his timeless music. Fatman Scoop was a valued member of the MN2S family for 15 years, and his loss is deeply felt by all of us,” he wrote in a statement.
Musical artists such as Fatjoe, Ludacris AND Harwell mourned his death. He had the hit song “Be Faithful” and worked on the hit songs “Lose Control” by Missy Elliott and “It’s Like That” by Mariah Carey.
