xBanda Returns to the Stage Seven Years After Chester Bennington’s Death, With Emily Armstrong’s Debut and a New Album Out in November
Linkin Park announced their official return this Thursday (9/5), after a seven-year hiatus due to the death of singer Chester Bennington. The band revealed their new lineup during a live broadcast on social media. Emily Armstrong, former singer of the band Dead Sara, has been confirmed as the group’s new vocalist, while Colin Brittain will take over as drummer.
Original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn remain in the lineup, ensuring the continuity of the band’s legacy.
Unreleased album and world tour
In addition to announcing their new lineup, Linkin Park revealed that they will be releasing a new album titled “From Zero,” due in November. The first single, “The Emptiness Machine,” marks the band’s first project since 2017’s “One More Light.”
The return to the stage is scheduled for September 11, in Los Angeles, starting a new world tour. Confirmed dates include shows in Germany, England, South Korea and Colombia.
