Festival takes place from the 15th of April
CANCELED: Kanye West officially canceled its participation in this year’s Coachella! The rapper was one of the headliners of the iconic American festival, which takes place over the next few weeks – from April 15th to 24th.
Incidentally, the news was given by TMZ, which stated that the reasons for the cancellation of the presentation have not yet been disclosed. However, anonymous sources stated that he was not rehearsing and therefore was not prepared to perform at the festival.
It is worth remembering that Kanye West’s name was already being the subject of controversy after he said he would bring Travis Scott to his show. The creator of Astroworld had been removed from the Coachella lineup due to the tragedy at his music festival, which left ten dead.
Kanye West was one of Coachella’s headliners. So far, we don’t know if his name will be replaced.

Rapper had already created controversy with other artists at the festival
Previously, Kanye West had asked Billie Eilish to settle down with Travis Scott after she allegedly insulted the rapper at a concert. In fact, he had said that if the singer didn’t do that, he wouldn’t perform at the festival.
It all started when Billie stopped a show on the Happier Than Ever World Tour after a fan had an asthma attack in the audience. “I hope people get well before continuing,” she commented during the moment.
Kanye West later republished the headline mentioning this situation, saying that she had snarled at Travis Scott. In this case, he referred to the tragedy of the Astroworld festival.
“Come on Billie, we love you,” Kanye wrote first. “Please apologize to Trav and the families of the people who lost their lives. Nobody intended for that to happen. Trav had no idea what was going on when he was on stage and he was very hurt by what happened,” he commented then.
It was then that Billie responded to Kanye West’s messages. As a comment on the rapper’s post, the singer said that she never spoke or tried to accuse Travis Scott of anything. “I was just trying to help a fan,” she added. Weather!
