The 2024 edition of the VMA (Video Music Awards) takes place this Wednesday, the 11th, at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Find out how to watch and what to expect from the awards ceremony:
Where and when to watch the VMAs
THE VMA will be broadcast on MTV, a cable TV channel, and on Pluto TV, a free channel that can be watched via an app. The event starts at 9 pm, Brasília time, this Wednesday, the 11th.
Who will be the host?
Megan Thee Stallion will host the awards night. She has two awards VMA and is competing in five categories this year.

THE VMA will feature shows by Anitta, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion,Lenny Kravitz, Shawn Mendes, Rauw Alejandro, LL Cool J, Karol G, GloRilla, Benson Boone and Lisa.
Who received the most nominations?
Taylor Swift is the artist with the most nominations for VMAcompeting in 12 categories. She could become the woman with the most awards at the event and surpass Beyoncé — who received 25 as a solo artist and 29 including works with Destiny’s Child and Jay-Z. Until now, Swift has 23 awards VMA.
