The singer has been praised by American authorities for his quick action and his supportive attitude
Singer Jon Bon Jovi has been praised by US police officers after helping a potentially suicidal woman on Tuesday (9/10) on the John Seigenthaler pedestrian bridge in Nashville, US. The girl was in a dangerous situation, outside the guardrail, when the artist and his team noticed the situation.
In images released by authorities, the Bon Jovi singer and another person appear close to the woman, who appeared to be in distress and on the verge of jumping. The famous star’s calm approach and recognition were essential to ensuring the woman’s calm and safety on the Cumberland River.
“Working to keep everyone safe is a shared responsibility,” said Nashville Metropolitan Police Chief John Drake. In the statement, he also emphasized Bon Jovi’s vital role in the positive response.
Bon Jovi was on the bridge to film a new music video when he came across this situation. Videos show the musician’s team was setting up equipment when he grabbed the woman from the railing and carried her to safety on the bridge.
