MC Daniele dared with style on his debut on Rock in Rio. To perform on the Sunset Stage this Friday, the 13th, the the funk player opted for teeth with diamonds and emerald stones.

The surprise was detailed by Caldeira, the singer’s stylist, who also highlighted the accessories used in the historic show: “The jewels are new, they were developed with him and the team. He will also use his teeth, which are made of diamonds and emeralds,” he told gshow.

In addition to his teeth and jewelry, Daniel wore an outfit that went beyond a T-shirt to go on stage. Of course, he didn’t leave aside his traditional mask of the character played by Jim Carrey.

Style aside, the funk singer captivated the audience by singing a song with his mother Daniela. He also paid homage to his son, who he is expecting with influencer Lorena Lorena Maria: “My son will be born and he will be very proud of me,” he said on stage.

Funk hits like Namora Aí, Tubarão, Te Amo and Love Absurdo shook the audience, but the surprise was the homage to Tom Jobim and bossa nova. The show ended with a potpourri that brought together Águas de Março, in the version with Elis, Ela é Carioca and Garota de Ipanema – the latter, which led to Girl From Rio, by Anitta – in a funk rhythm. However, these classics did not excite the audience, the vast majority of which left for other stages as soon as the first chords of Ela é Carioca were played.

Those who left Sunset did not see what happened next: a selection with Vai Novinha, Ah, Ah, Ah, Desenrola, Bate and Joga de Ladin, Ai, Preto, among others, which brought together MC Daniel, MC Soffia and Rebecca on stage.
