Tetê Espíndola, Maria Gadú, Dani Black, Gabriel Sater, Vanessa Moreno, Adriana Sanchez, Malu Rodrigues, Chico César, Guilherme Rondon, Paulinho Moska, Letícia Sabatella and Celito Espíndola have recorded, under the musical production of Big Rabelo, a song and a video clip that will be part of the campaign of the SOS Pantanal Institute. “Oh, Pantanal” is written by lyricist Carlos Rennó, Tetê Espíndola and pantanalyst Guilherme Rondon.
“The idea of this project is to draw people’s attention to the gravity of what is happening in the Pantanal. These artists, excellent by the way, have been touched by the cause and have agreed to participate to give more voice to this cause. So that more people can be moved, become aware of the deeper causes of the destruction of the biome and ask the authorities and actors with power to reverse this situation,” commented Carlos Rennó.
“For SOS Pantanal, it is a very rich symbolism for the biome to receive a tribute of this magnitude. So many talented and recognized artists who demonstrate that they look at the Pantanal, so important and unique, but which is so threatened at the moment. At the same time, combining art and culture with environmental causes is of fundamental importance to raise awareness of the urgency of the situation”, commented Gustavo Figuerôa, Director of Communications for SOS Pantanal.
The recording and publication of the song and video clip “Oh, Pantanal” are made by SOS Pantanal, executive producer of Circus Produções, directed by Guto Ruocco, Carlos Rennó’s partner also in “Hino ao Inominável”.
