In “A Nonsense Christmas,” Sabrina Carpenter will perform songs from her holiday EP “Fruitcake” and covers of iconic songs from the season. In addition to the musical performances, the special will feature unexpected guests and special appearances, according to information released by Netflix.

Production and team

The special was produced by OBB Pictures and At Last Productions, with Sabrina Carpenter serving as one of the executive producers alongside Michael D. Ratner, CEO of OBB. Ratner emphasized Carpenter’s vision to create something innovative: “Sabrina had a clear vision from the beginning to subvert the traditional format of Christmas specials,” the producer said in a statement.

The artist celebrated a year of great success, including his first No. 1 album and single on the Billboard charts – “Short ‘N Sweet” and “Please Please Please”, respectively. His most recent song, “Taste”, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and currently sits at No. 6.
