Rock in Rio ends with nostalgic performances and romantic pop

Shawn Mendes leads the international attractions, while Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo and Akon promise to revive the hits of the 2000s

Rock in Rio 2024 concludes this Sunday (22/9), highlighting Canadian singer Shawn Mendes as the big attraction of the night on Palco Mundo. Known for hits like “Treat You Better,” Mendes is expected to present a setlist mixed with new songs and his romantic hits.

Another highly anticipated performance is that of Mariah Carey, who will take to the Sunset Stage with a show divided into acts and a sequence of elegant costumes. The singer promises to shock the audience with nostalgic hits from the 2000s.

Ne-Yo and Akon on the world stage

Ne-Yo and Akon promise to entertain the audience at Palco Mundo too, re-proposing the hits that marked the music scene of the 2000s with their songs that dominated the radio.

National Highlights

Among the Brazilian artists, Luísa Sonza and Ney Matogrosso, who performed yesterday at Rock Day, return to the stage in individual shows.
