The big rock and heavy metal festivals in Brazil are all set for 2025. And the newest festival is Bangers Open Air which, despite being its first edition, is not something so new, as it is the old Summer Breeze festival that has just changed its name.
“We continue to count on the support of the heavy metal community around the world and work hard to ensure that Brazilian fans have the best experience. We are confident that Bangers Open Air will maintain its roots and continue to be synonymous with plurality, accessibility and inclusion,” said Damaris Hoffman, marketing manager of the event.
Scheduled for May 2025, Bangers Open Air will once again take place at Espaço das Américas, in São Paulo, with 3 days of heavy music. “We will have 44 attractions in the 2025 edition, 4 stages, children’s area, food area, geek fair, tattoo fair and we expect around 38 thousand people for this edition”, says Damaris.
Some of these 44 names have already been announced, including the bands Sabaton, Paradise Lost, I Prevail, Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Viper and Dorsal Atlântica.
If you like heavy metal you can’t miss it, but tell me, which band do you hope to see at this festival?
