Eminem insulted Diddy in an album released months before his arrest; check it out

Eminem’s verses cite accusations that led to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest

The rapper Eminemindirectly mentioned the accusations againstSean ‘Diddy’ Combs in your album The Death of Slim Shady, released in July, months before P. Diddy’s arrest for sex trafficking and assault.

On the album, Eminemproposes the “death” of his character slim Shadycreated at the beginning of his career. The songs move between trap and classic boom-bap, and the rapper criticizes topics such as beauty standards, inclusion and trans rights, in addition to mentioning several entertainment figures, including Combs.

On the track Fuel, Eminem makes a play on words that seems to refer directly to P. Diddy:

I’m like a RAPER / Got so many S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word, ‘Rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? (Yep) / RIP, rest in peace, Biggie / And Pac, both of y’all should be living.

Translated: I’m like a rapist / I got a bunch of BOs / Wait, did he actually spell ‘rapper’ just without a ‘P’? (Ahem) / Rest in peace, Biggie / And Pac, you two should be alive.

The expression “P, did he?” sounds like a direct reference to P. Diddywho was already facing several civil lawsuits describing him as a “violent sexual predator.”

On another track, Antichrist, Eminem brings another possible allusion to the rapper:

Ghastly, and insidious as me, or spitting as nasty?/ Next idiot ask me is getting his ass beat worse than Diddy did.

Translated: Horrible and treacherous like me, or spitting as mean? / The next idiot who asks me is going to get beat up worse than Diddy did to….

This excerpt may be referring to the case of the singer Cassiewhich, at the end of 2023, accused Diddy of having subjected her to physical and sexual abuse for more than a decade, including an episode in which she was allegedly drugged and raped by the rapper in 2018.

These allegations culminated in the arrest of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in September 2024, accused of sex trafficking and assault. Complaints state that he used alcohol and drugs to coerce his victims, and their homes were searched by federal agents.
