Chris Martin and Liam Gallagher They are friends, but it wasn’t always like that.

In an interview with NME, Martin confessed that his band doesn’t usually get into “bullshit”, even when Gallagher stated that fans of Coldplay they are “boring and ugly and don’t look like they’re having fun”, and the vocalist “looks like a geography teacher”.

After Chris and Liam play “Live Forever” together at benefit concert One Love Manchester, of Ariana Grandein 2017, the member of Oasis made a point of “taking back everything I’ve already said about” the band’s frontman Coldplay.

“I’ve always loved Liam“, he said Martin. “He’s unpredictable, but he’s always free to come to my house for tea and lasagna,” continued the musician, referencing the lyrics of “Digsy’s Dinner”, by Oasis.

The singer also spoke about the reunion of Oasis: “That meeting showed what music is about. It just exists to make people happy, for those who want it. I was really happy that they decided to do that.”
