Singer defends herself against comments about her appearance and performance on stage during ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour
The singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter recently responded to criticism about the way he exploits his sensuality during the tour Short N’ Sweet. In an interview with TEAMthe artist, who released her sixth studio album of the same name, addressed the negative comments she received about her sexy costumes and choreography.
Sabrina highlighted that it is common to find people with opinions about how she should dress, especially mothers.
We still get the occasional mom or two who has a strong opinion about how you should dress. And to that I just say: don’t come to the show and that’s okay.
The scariest thing in the world is getting on a stage in front of so many people and having to perform like it’s nothing. If the only thing that helps you do this is the way you feel comfortable dressing, then that’s what you have to do.
During his performance at Madison Square GardenSabrina was also the target of comments from fans surprised by her sensuality in front of her family.
My fans say online: ‘I can’t believe she’s bending over in front of her grandparents!’. [Ela respondeu] Girl, they’re not paying attention to this. They’re just thinking, ‘I can’t believe all these people are here.’
