The MP claims Nahim’s death was accidental and calls for the case to be closed

A mixture of drugs, medications and alcohol caused the 71-year-old singer’s death

On June 13 this year, the death of Nahim was considered accidental by the Public Prosecutor. The body, which asked for the case to be closed, agreed with the conclusions of the Civil Police, according to which the 71-year-old singer died after consuming alcohol, cocaine and anti-insomnia drugs.

According to the prosecution, the examination indicated that Nahim had heart problems and could see only 20% in one of his eyes. The deputy and the police are working on the possibility that the singer had a sudden illness after taking drugs and medications, tripping on the stairs and hitting his head.

Nahim was found dead in his home in Taboão da Serra, São Paulo metropolitan region, on June 13. According to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) report, the death was caused by cocaine intoxication and head trauma.

Nahim’s death was initially classified as suspicious by police, who interviewed the singer’s acquaintances, family and neighbours, who confirmed that he used cocaine recreationally. Police officers also analyzed security camera footage, but found no suspicious images.
