The North American gang Kiss has decided to help the victims of the floods that hit Rio Grande do Sul in the first half of this year. The rockers of the group, Paul Stanley (vocals/guitar), Gene Simmons (vocals/bass), Eric Singer (battery) e Tommy Thayer (guitar), has decided to donate some items that will be auctioned during a charity dinner in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. The band passed through town in 2022 with its farewell tour Kiss: end of the road.
The auction will take place this Thursday, 10th, at the Associação Leopoldina Juvenil. Among the items for sale are two tickets to the group’s final show, which will take place at Madison Square Garden. Tickets are 24k gold plated, printed front and back with a unique laser-etched number, and accompanied by an original ticket certificate, autographed by the band. Furthermore, auction participants will be able to purchase two autographed photo postcards and two exclusive official flags.
The event is organized by the Instituto Sou de Fazer, founded by former athlete and businessman Rafael Sobis, and will bring together important community leaders, businessmen and personalities committed to the cause. The event is supported and organized by WAG – Rede do Bem, a company from Rio Grande do Sul that connects companies and institutions with social causes
All proceeds from the auction will be used to rebuild homes and educational institutions, allowing communities to get back on their feet with dignity and quickly.
The dinner will also be characterized by the presence of special guests, musical performances, open bar and open food. In addition to Kiss pieces, items donated by artists, companies, football teams and pieces from athletes’ collections will also be up for auction.
