Singer sold 100,000 tickets in one day and opens new dates in Rio and Sao Paulo due to high demand
Tickets for “Ensaios da Anitta,” a series of pre-carnival performances by singer Anitta, went on sale Wednesday (9/10) and, within hours, were already sold out in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The Rio show, scheduled for February 8 at Marina da Glória, saw all tickets sold out within 50 minutes. In Sao Paulo, the event scheduled for February 22nd at Parque Villa-Lobos sold out in just 40 minutes. In total, 100,000 were sold on the first day alone.
Extra dates
Given the success, Anitta announced extra shows in both capitals. The additional performance in Rio de Janeiro will take place on February 9, while Sao Paulo will host an extra show on February 23. Sales for both dates have already started this Friday (11th) at midday, via the Ingresse website.

In addition to the two capitals of the South-East, the shows will take place in 10 other cities. The first presentation will be held in São Luís, Maranhão, on January 11th. Subsequently, Anitta will perform in Fortaleza (12/1), Salvador (18/1), Brasilia (19/1), Recife (25/1), Ribeirão Preto (26/1), Belo Horizonte (1/2), Campinas (2/2), Rio de Janeiro (8/2 and now also 9/2), Curitiba (15/2), Florianópolis (16/2) and Sao Paulo (22/2 and also 23/2).
This year the pre-carnival tour will have Olympic sports as its theme.
