The North American DJ welcomed Pedro Sampaio and Ludmilla to the stage of the music festival
Steve Aoki decided to follow singer Anitta’s exclusive advice and managed to cheer up the audience at Tomorrowland Brasil on Sunday evening (10/13), in Itu, Sao Paulo. The North American DJ bet on the energy of Pedro Sampaio and Ludmilla in the surprise set of the festival.
Backstage at the event, Steve said he asked Poderosa for recommendations from Brazilian artists: “I called my friend Anitta and asked, ‘Who else should I work with?’ And she said, ‘You have to work with Pedro Sampaio ‘She gave me her phone number, I listened to her music and I was impressed, we started talking and I said: ‘Dude, I want to remix your classics,'” he told gshow.
Excited about the partnership, the DJs combined their talents in new versions of “POCPOC” and “Cavalho”, both hits from the Brazilian. Between songs, Sampaio even managed to deliver a personalized Brazilian t-shirt to Steve, who was enchanted by his kindness: “I love you, man.”
Collaboration with Ludmilla
Steve Aoki also had a special appearance by singer Ludmilla on the music festival stage. The artists took advantage of the unprecedented meeting to debut a musical partnership, the song “Amazing.”
The Brazilian singer entered the set right at the start of the show, exchanging a hug with Steve and jumping along with the festival audience. After this special moment, the DJ released a new version of “Parado no Bailão” and other funk classics.
