Everyone already knows that The Hives offers cathartic and unforgettable shows when they come to Brazil, but the band promises the best show ever performed in the country.
The Swedish group will give a unique performance on October 15, at the Tokio Marine Hall in Sao Paulo, via Popload Gig. Watch the interview for Portal Rockline, by Talita Alencar.
The Hives released their sixth album, “The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons,” in August last year, after 11 years without a new album. With this new work, the Hives contradict the statistic that their next album would be “the best of their career”, a statement made by 90% of artists when they remain without a release.
Pelle Almqvist is keen to warn that “The Death…” has nothing of a “mature album”, neither inventions nor experimentalism. It was “just” a simple album, fast rock and overflowing with energy. The usual. In the case of The Hives, always good.
