Harry Styles talks about Liam Payne’s death: “Devastated”

The singer posted a message on social media about the loss of his friend and fellow member of the group One Direction

Harry Styles spoke this Thursday evening (17/10) about the death of Liam Payne. One of the last members of One Direction to speak out, the singer wrote his tribute on Instagram following the release of an official collective note from the group’s four members.

Styles stressed that he was shocked by the death of his friend, which occurred on Wednesday (10/16) after falling from the 3rd floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. “I am truly devastated by Liam’s death. His greatest joy was making others happy, and it was an honor to be by his side as he did it,” he wrote.

The singer stressed that Liam will be missed. “Liam lived openly, showing everything he felt, he had an energy for life that was contagious. He was warm, supportive and incredibly loving. The years we spent together will always remain the most cherished of my life. I will always miss him, my dear friend .”

She also said she was heartbroken for Liam’s son Bear, his family and friends and everyone who loved him “like me”.
