The institution was contacted by the production, but did not allow the bumbá to be shown in Numanice
Boi Garantido, one of the main cultural associations of the Parintins Festival, has reported that it will take drastic measures against the singer Ludmilla, who filed a false complaint against Boi Caprichoso at a show in Numanice, in Manaus, Amazon.
In a statement, representatives of the boi bumbá explained that they had been contacted by the production of Numanice, but said that they would not allow the folkloric character to be shown on the show. The reason for the impediment is not yet clear.
“The Boi Bumbá Garantido Folk Association, through its president, Fred Góes, comes out to clarify that the ox presented last Sunday (20/10), during an event held at the Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus, is not the Boi Officially guaranteed,” the institution said.
“We clarify that, although the Association was consulted, the proposal presented for the production of the event was rejected. The subsequent hiring of an unofficial ox occurred without the knowledge and authorization of the Board of Boi-Bumbá Garantido. “
Finally, the association specified that it may take legal action against the singer: “We underline that any participation of Boi Garantido in commercial events, shows or festivals must be previously authorized by the association. In case of improper use or unauthorized participation, the Appropriate judicial and extrajudicial measures will be taken by the association,” he concluded.
Ludmilla’s team has not yet commented on the situation, but the space remains open.
BULLSHIT! Ludmilla could be sued by Boi Garantido for improperly using an unofficial copy of the figure in her show 🗣️ pic.twitter.com/RXzvWCqVvH
