The 2025 edition, which celebrates 30 years of the first Monsters of Rock, promises to be the biggest and best in the history of the themed event
For the edition that will mark 30 years of the festival that celebrates one of the greatest genres of music, Monsters of Rock announced Scorpions and Judas Priest as main attractions in 2025, in addition to other bands that will also be part of the line-up.
The event is scheduled for April 19th, in São Paulo. Another five groups were also confirmed: Europe, Savatage, Queensrÿche, Opeth and Stratovarius. Tickets will be sold from November 1, 2024, next Friday. So far, information such as prices and festival location have not been released.
The first Monsters of Rock took place on August 27, 2024, at Pacaembu. With live coverage from MTV in what was the first themed festival in Brazil, the event brought memorable shows from KISS, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Suicidal Tendencies, Viper, Raimundos, Angra and Dr Sin. The most recent edition was in April 2023, on Allianz Parquewith KISS, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Helloween, Candelmass, Symphony X and Doro.
