She was born in Cristianópolis, a city located about 90 kilometers from the capital Goiânia. His success was as rapid as his passage through life. It was still a child that the future Queen of Suffering had her first contact with music singing in church. At the age of 10, Marília received her first guitar.
“Her grandfather came to me and asked me to teach her. He also gave her a guitar. When Marília began to learn to play, she sang a little here at home. I realized that she was a little embarrassed to let her voice out. His voice was deeper, more hoarse, but he could socialize easily with people,” said the artist’s first teacher, Marli dos Santos, in an interview with “Fantástico”.
Still very young, more precisely at the age of 12, she began composing and it didn’t take long for her to emerge on the country scene.. “My admiration and respect for her goes back to that moment because she was a child, right?
