Bruno Mars built a catalog with several hits. There are so many that the artist doesn’t even like one of them.

This song came about in the studio. We were trying to make music that was better than the Beatles. We were trying to be magical and historical. After five hours, everything turned to crap. I’m a light guy.”

It was a very difficult song to compose, despite being so simple. The song started one day when we were in the studio and we hadn’t written a song in a few days, and we were kind of tired and didn’t feel like working. We felt lazy. The single was produced by the trio known as The Smeezingtonsbasically formed by Mars, Levine and Lawrence. “The Lazy Song” reached 4th place on the American chart, in addition to topping charts in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Czechia, Germany, Hungary and Slovakia. It was top 5 almost all over the world.
