The first part of the awards ceremony began on the afternoon of Thursday the 14th in Miami and announced the winners in the Portuguese language music categories

Erasmo Carlos, Xandé De Pilares, Gabriel the thinker and other Brazilians are among the winners of the Latin Grammy 2024. The first part of the awards ceremony began on the afternoon of this Thursday the 14th, in Miami, in the United States. The main event will take place starting at 10pm.

During the preview ceremony, the winners of some Portuguese language song categories were announced.

The singer and composer from Sao Paulo Jota.pê won in three categories: Best Brazilian Popular Music/Brazilian Afro-Portuguese Music Album; Best Portuguese Language Song and Best Record Engineering Album.

In the category Best Instrumental Album, Hamilton from Holland was awarded to the Venezuelan group C4 Trío for the album Temblà.

Intimate scandal, From Luisa Sonza won Best Portuguese-Language Contemporary Pop Album.

The prize was also awarded to a person from Bahia Thales Roberto for Best Christian Music Album (Portuguese Language) with Let It Come – Vol II.
