Music begins a new phase

Rapper Lil Nas The song, produced in collaboration with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, features a house music-inspired sound and reflects the artist’s rapid rise to the top of the charts. In the lyrics, the rapper projects new goals for his career, promising to “reach new heights, again.”

The release marks Lil Nas X’s entry into a new musical era, described as a “comeback after comeback.” The track follows “J Christ,” a single released in January that generated controversy for its use of religious imagery and criticism of the artist’s controversy-based marketing strategy. With the negative repercussions, the new version takes a completely different direction.

Clip inspired by “Project

Along with the song, Lil Nas X released a music video directed by Andrew Donoho, inspired by the film “Project X” (2012). The video depicts a party that begins in a controlled manner, but quickly spirals out of control and turns into a chaotic celebration.

The clip opens with the rapper sending out invitations to his party. Soon guests appear having fun in a basement, getting tattoos and climbing on washing machines. But, little by little, the party grows proportionally, turning into a big party in a warehouse.

Expectations for the album “Dreamboy”

“Light Again” introduces the tone of reinvention intended for the “Dreamboy” album. The new album does not yet have a defined release date, but it generates great anticipation after the success of the artist’s previous works.
