Gilberto Gil was awarded to Cauldron with Mion this Saturday, 16th, on TV Globo. Among the stories he told, the musical one What’s newhis collaboration with Os Paralamas do Sucesso in 1986, was reportedly written in just 30 minutes.

Then Herbert Vianna appeared and confirmed the story through a video: he had the material for an album. One of the shorts was missing text. We sent it to him and he immediately responded with inspiring lyrics The New. We were like, ‘Wow, is this true? It’s not possible!'”

“I want to continue making music as long as I’m healthy and having fun, but I want a lower intensity,” Gilberto Gil said on the attraction’s stage.
