Gusttavo Lima’s defense celebrates the request to dismiss the complaints

The Public Prosecutor underlined the absence of evidence of the crimes committed by the artist and his associates

Investigations without evidence of illegality

The Public Prosecutor of Pernambuco (MP-PE) requested this Monday (25/11) the dismissal of the investigations involving the entrepreneurs Gusttavo Lima and Vai de Bet, José André da Rocha Neto and Aislla Sabrina Rocha, in Operation Integration. In a statement, the singer’s defense specified: “The statement from the Prosecutor’s Office presented today confirms the belief that the investigations against the singer should be closed, without filing charges, due to the absence of any illicit act committed by him.” or its companies.”

The Prosecutor’s Office concluded that there are no elements demonstrating the involvement of the artist and entrepreneurs in financial transactions of illicit origin. “It requests dismissal due to the lack of elements demonstrating that the values of the suspicious transactions indicated therein originate from a criminal crime,” reads the petition sent to the 12th Criminal Court of Recife.

The airline contract raised suspicions

The case became known for a request for protective custody against the singer, which ended up being cancelled. At the center of the police investigation was an aircraft sales contract involving a company owned by Gusttavo Lima and Esportes da Sorte, owned by Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho. The deal was terminated and, six months later, the aircraft was sold to the owners of Vai de Bet, which raised suspicions of a connection between the parties.

However, the MP stressed that no evidence has been found linking the singer or the businessmen to any illegal practices. “There is absolutely no correlation between these movements and the suspect Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho, a possible culprit of wild game”, underlines the text of the Public Prosecutor.

Gusttavo Lima’s defense reiterated that the artist was no longer the owner of the plane when it was seized by the police and that the sale took place last year, ruling out any connection with the initial accusations.
