Rock in Rio 2022
In early 2021, the official profile of Rock in Rio announced the change in the festival’s date, which would initially take place in the months of September and October of this year. Due to the scenario of the covid-19 pandemic in Brazil, the event was postponed to 2022.
The festival takes place over two consecutive weekends. This year’s edition is scheduled for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of September in the City of Rock at the Olympic Park (or Parque dos Atletas, used as a leisure area and space for major events), located on the edge of Barra da Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro.
