“So a lot of people said something like, ‘A Yoko wasn’t on this album, why are they highlighting it in the liner notes or something?’ I think there’s a lot of history and a lot of assumptions about that period because, in a way, they were heading towards that famous separation that people call The lost weekendRight? In Los Angeles, with May Pang“.

“But the truth is, even when they were separated, they were always talking, so I don’t think they ever really broke up. All of my father’s things were still in the apartment with my mother. It wasn’t like they had a real separation. And then my father only thought about her,” she continued.

Sean she added: “Look at the album cover, it’s a collage of my mother, literally the size of a mountain, and he’s this little thing fading into the background. I think it’s clear what his vision of my mother was in her .” his life. She was monumental, obviously, and the whole album is about her.”

“And it was there in the studio. So I guess it didn’t change my opinion much, but it confirmed how deeply in love he was with my mother,” she said, going on to say that she believes her mother “I never got over that relationship.”
