The band is a confirmed attraction at the C6 Fest, a festival that will take place in May 2025 in Sao Paulo
The suitors is expected to perform in four more Brazilian cities in 2025.
THE Party C6 announced in October that the band led by Chrissie Hynde is one of the attractions of next year’s edition. The French duo Air is also confirmed in the program of the festival which will take place from 22 to 25 May, at Parque Ibirapuera, in Sao Paulo.
According to the Josè Norberto Fleschjournalist known for advance announcements of shows, The Pretenders also included Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Brasilia. Check the probable new dates:
- Porto Alegre – May 19 (Araújo Vianna Auditorium)
- Curitiba – May 20 (Positive Theater)
- Brasilia – 22 May (Ulysses Congress Center)

The report of Chrissie Hynde with St. Paul

“I loved it. I loved everything about it: the architecture, the craziness, seeing so many people walking along the sidewalks,” he added at the time.
Hynde he arrived in Brazil in 2004 to play Moreno Veloso, Dominic AND Cassin. “I went to Brazil, I met Moreno Veloso and we did a tour together that, I don’t know why, was never documented, which is a shame, because it was one of the best musical things I ever did,” he explained to BBC again in 2009.
The partnership with the son of Caetano Veloso Put Hynde in contact with Brazilian music. He stated that Folha de S.Paulo: “I knew almost nothing about Brazilian music, but I was amazed by the richness, rhythms and relaxed, almost ethereal quality of their music.”
This year, Moreno revealed that he is preparing an album of new songs with Chrissie. Sean O’Hagan must produce the project (via Earth).
