He continued: “Eloy is in the band, and there’s something going on between the nine of us that’s really fun. A lot is coming up, and we probably have several albums in us right now. About how things are looking, being completely honest with you, it’s like a cloud has lifted. Whatever that cloud was… everyone participates in the cloud. Everything is going very well.”

Right away, Clown was asked about the contribution of Eloy about the band’s life, to which he responded: “He’s a phenomenal person, and I love his passion for the instrument. It’s at a level we’ve seen before. There was a high standard in the band. Slipknot when we were coming up, long before we got a contract, and if you couldn’t keep up, you were left behind. This is not a criticism of what once was, we are just talking about now.”

“There are a lot of OGs in the band, and we have a lot of feelings that we’ve carried since the beginning. It’s an important life that we live, and it’s a lot to ask to expect people to understand that and take it seriously when they go into this process,” he added.

[Os membros mais novos] They only got in because they are able to understand it, add to it and become part of it. Eloy feels like the final piece, and because of that, there’s a new energy to everything. It’s a real pleasure to see him perform with us every night. It feels like it was meant to be, because here we are doing the anniversary tour, which I had a lot of doubts about a year ago, but now I have the same incredible feelings that I had 25 years ago when we did it for the first time. It feels like it was meant to be, and it’s a beautiful thing.

Entry by Eloy Casagrande

One of the most celebratory moments for Brazilian rock fans in 2024 was the entrance of the drummer Eloy Casagrande node Slipknoticonic American metal band. Now the vocalist and frontman, Corey Taylorrevealed what motivated the group to hire the 33-year-old artist.

During an interview with the magazine Revolverthe singer praised the courage of Casagrandein addition to his impressive talent on the drums. “Eloy He was the only one who had the courage to enter the room with us. We were looking at a handful of other people and none of them wanted to play with us,” he said. “They just wanted to record their own stuff and send it out – a very TikTokhe knows?”

“And we were like, ‘That’s not how it works, man.’ Eloy He rearranged his schedule to see us. He was so eager to play and see what would happen that we were immediately impressed by just that,” he continued. Taylor. “He didn’t get the job right away – meeting him was as important as playing with him – but when we made that decision, we thought, ‘Let’s tell the world now. He deserved it.’

Our audience is so used to us keeping our cards close to our chest, but for me it was more refreshing to just say, ‘Yeah, he’s our guy.’
