“Rogerinho Punisher” was considered wanted on suspicion of corruption and involvement in the CCP
The civilian police officer Rogério de Almeida Felícioknown as “Rogerinho Punisher”, he was arrested on the morning of Monday 23rd, after turning himself in at a police station in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. He was wanted by the Federal Police on charges of corruption and involvement in the Capital First Command (PCC).

Al Earththe Secretariat of Public Security reported that the delivery took place after an agreement with Rogério’s defense.
The arrest is part of the PF’s Operation Tacitus, an action that aims to dismantle a criminal organization focused on money laundering and crimes against the public administration (passive and active corruption).
On the 17th, the PF executed 8 arrest warrants and 13 search and seizure warrants in the cities of São Paulo, Bragança Paulista, Igaratá and Ubatuba. A delegate and three other civil police officers were arrested.
“The investigation was based on the analysis of evidence obtained in several police investigations involving financial transactions, award-winning collaborations and testimonies. These elements revealed the complex way in which the suspects structured themselves to ask for bribes and launder money to satisfy the interests of the criminal organisation,” the PF said in a press release.
According to information from TV Globo, Rogério was a PC telecommunications agent in Sao Paulo and also worked as a security guard for singer Gusttavo Lima. He is one of the police officers reported by Vinicius Gritzbach, who was shot dead at Guarulhos airport in November.

In a statement, the Civil Police stressed that it is a legalistic institution and does not condone misconduct. “The task force created to investigate the murder that occurred at Guarulhos international airport continues to work to clarify the case, and the internal bodies of the civil and military police collaborate in the investigation so that all the officers involved are punished according to the law”, he said.
Balada Eventos, the office that manages the career of singer Gusttavo Lima, clarified in a statement that Rogerio de Almeida Felício served in some events (shows) as a member of the artist’s security team. However, he only learned about the operation on the 17th.
“We hope that all facts will be duly clarified before the police authority presiding over the investigation,” the company said.
