Drummer known for his decades-long involvement with Titãs, he is also a collector of vinyl records and host of music programs

In addition to having been the drummer for decades, Titans, Carlo Gavin He became known as a true music enthusiast. The Sao Paulo native is an avid vinyl record collector and hosts programs such as The sound of vinylIn Brazil channelAND Rock CityIn Radio City FM.

Also keeping an eye on musical news, Gavin shared on his Instagram profile a list with recommendations on 12 international rock albums released in 2024. In addition to classic names such as Neil Young AND Pearl Jamthe artist highlighted younger groups such as Vampire Weekend AND The chisel.

In another publication, Charles Gavin recommended 12 international pop albums released in 2024. The list included artists flirting with different genres, such as Beyoncé (which in Cowboy Carter approached the town) and Brittany Howard (former manager of Alabama Smoothies which, in the drummer’s words, combined “dancefloor, soul and funk”).

08) Father John Misty/Maashmashana: The singer-songwriter (former Fleet Foxes drummer) continues to be creative on his sixth album.

09) Michael Kiwanuka/Small Changes: London’s Muswell Hill, Kiwanuka presents sophisticated songs, covered in modern pop soul, produced by Danger Mouse and Inflo.

10) Paul Weller / 66: The former leader of The Jam and Style Council reaches the age of 66, with little help from his friends (Noel Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie and Suggs).

11) The smile/The wall of eyes: Avangarde pop of the supergroup formed by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (creative axis of Radiohead) with drummer Tom Skinner (Sons of Kemet).
