Assaults and arrest in flagrante delicto
The funk singer MC Boladin 211 was arrested red-handed on Christmas night (25/12) in Porto Alegre. According to the Civil Police, he is accused of attempted femicide against his girlfriend, a 16-year-old teenager, as well as illegal possession of firearms and damage.
According to delegate Cristiane Ramos, the singer allegedly punched, kicked and kicked the victim and even broke her cell phone. During the custody hearing, the court ordered his pre-trial detention. A 9mm caliber pistol was seized at the scene.
Case details
The incident occurred around 8pm, after an argument motivated, according to the investigation, by jealousy and family problems. The teenager told police she managed to escape into the kitchen during the attacks, but the 20-year-old funk singer said he was going to kill her and went into the bedroom to get the gun.
To defend himself, the victim took a knife and stabbed the singer in the shin, managing to escape from the apartment and lock him inside the property. He then asked the doorman for help, who called the military police. The episode was recorded at the 1st Specialized Women’s Assistance Commissariat (Deam).
Career and background
MC Boladin 211 is an emerging name in the Rio Grande do Sul trap scene and has more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram. It calls itself the “Terror of the South”, in reference to the Restinga Velha neighborhood, south of Porto Alegre.
Delegate Cristiane Ramos informed that the singer, whose real name is Bernardo Soares da Rosa, had no criminal record.
So far the MC Boladin 211 team has not commented on the allegations, but the space remains open for new developments and statements.
