The former lead singer of British band The Verve will be an attraction at the Best of Blues and Rock festival
Shows at Ibirapuera Park
Richard Ashcroft, former lead singer of British band The Verve, will perform in Brazil for the first time in June. The singer-songwriter will perform on June 7 and 8 during the Best of Blues and Rock festival, which will be held at Parque Ibirapuera, in Sao Paulo.
Known for hits like “Bittersweet Symphony” and “Lucky Man,” Ashcroft proves to be a draw on both dates. Tickets are now available for purchase on the Eventim website.
International and national presence at the event
The North American band Dave Matthews Band will also participate in the festival, headlining the two days. Furthermore, on the 8th the Red Baron will take the stage.
Tour before shows with Oasis
The performances in Sao Paulo precede the shows Ashcroft will perform as the opening act for Oasis’ performances in Europe.
