Megan Thee Stallion: harassment allegations and Lanez’s defense

In recent months, Megan alleged that Lanez was coordinating attacks against her through calls and payments to third parties, which led to smear campaigns and lies about her image. In his defense, Lanez’s lawyer, Michael Hayden, denied the allegations and said that criticism from independent bloggers could not be attributed to his client.

Megan responded by saying that she doesn’t want to limit anyone’s freedom of expression, but seeks to protect herself from actions directly orchestrated by Lanez. “Being a public figure means facing criticism, but the problem is that behind these campaigns of harassment and defamation is the man who shot me,” he said.

Lanez was previously convicted of three counts: assault with a semi-automatic firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm in a vehicle and use of a firearm with gross negligence. The restraining order now imposes additional measures to ensure the artist’s safety.
