BTS: J-Hope Announces Tour, New Music After Military Service; Brazil is excluded


The South Korean artist had to take a short break from his career and announced his return with a teaser published on social media

K-pop group idol BTSthe singer J-Hope he’s back. Furthermore, he confirmed that fans will have news in 2025. This Friday (January 10), the South Korean announced that he will release new music in March. Getting ready for the world tour Hope on stagehis first solo career.

The news was released through a teaser video titled “The beginning of a new dream”which shows the singer and dancer working in the studio.

The concert program begins at the end of February with performances in the hometown of J-Hope. The artist will be on tour in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Mexico City and Osaka until June. No date in Brazil has been announced.

The tour announcement comes less than three months after the artist was discharged from the South Korean military after completing his mandatory tour. He launched his solo career in 2022 with the LP Jack in the box and enlisted in April of the following year.

It’s half nervousness and half excitement. Since I’m the first to go solo, I feel a sense of responsibility and there’s definitely some pressure too,” he said Rolling Stone at the time of the LP’s release.

The project Hope on the street was released while J-Hope was in military service and included performances and a six-part documentary series. Now, J-Hope is eager to pick up where he left off.
