Confirmed! Lady Gaga will perform in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 3. The city of Rio de Janeiro has established a partnership with Banco Santander to make the free presentation of the star practicable, which will be the first of the “Everyone in Rio” project, which aims to bring great international artists to perform on the Carioca promenade.
Scheduled for 21:00, the show can establish a new public record in the Lady Gaga career. The structure of the event will occupy an area of ββ28,000 square meters in the sand of the beach, with screens and chemical bathrooms distributed along the edge for better public comfort.
This will be the second visit of Lady Gaga to Brazil. The singer was in the country for the first time in 2012, when he held a show in Rio de Janeiro. In 2017, when he performed again in the city, in Rock in Rio, Gaga was forced to cancel the show the day before, due to a fibromyalgia that prevented her from singing.
Will the big question now be: will Gaga attract more people from Madonna? The “little monsters”, how are the singer’s fans known, are so numerous that they crowd the Copacabana beach? All these questions will be answered on May 3, which already promises to be historic for the city of Rio de Janeiro and for the singer.
