Press Opinions
The tour Sting 3.0 There were approximately 70 shows performed over 2024 before arriving in Brazil. Therefore, there are various reports about the presentations.
The magazine Variety It points out that the complementary musicians did not miss a show in Los Angeles: guitar, bass and drums it was enough for performance. The text signed by journalist Chris Willman also highlights the initiative to play also for smaller audiences, in intimate placesinstead of taking the tour only for giant arenas. In the case of Brazil, the shows take place in places with a capacity of approximately 15 to 25,000 people – largebut not immense like stadiums.

In addition to minimalism and intimate approach, Sting has been praised by the presence of stage, enhanced by the use of a wireless microphone while playing low. Instead of getting stuck in the pedestal, the musician is free to circulate throughout the stage and interact more often with the audience, including telling stories about the songs.
This aspect is emphasized by the newspaper Uses today. Journalist Melissa Ruggieri points out:
“Only at a Sting show will you hear about musical inspirations of a biblical verse in Samuel’s book (The Esoteric ‘MAD ABout You’), a memory of your father’s advice to ‘go see the world and do something of yourself’ (‘How Should I Cry For You?’) and a description of the ‘gold sea’ at the time of the harvest outside his home in the interior of England (‘Fields of Gold’). ”
Finally, the choice of repertoire is described as “A powerful and diverse mix of songs from The Police and the Solo Career”. Even the new song “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” It yielded compliments for its “aggressive” sound to the artist’s standards.
